As followers of Jesus Christ in the USA, we do not take the Bible seriously enough.Many times we take it and use it against people instead of internalizing it. This Sunday, Father's Day, we continue in our series called NOW THAT IS ESSENTIAL wiht a message entitled "One of the Best Weapons". We will meet in our sanctuary @ either 9am or 11:10am or in the parking lot for either of those two times. We will also be online this week @ 10am so join us if you can an have a Happy Father's Day!

Glancing at it doesn't do much good. Leaving it on the shelf is worthless. A person must take time to not only read it but take time to understand it. The Bible. This Sunday, we continue in our series called NOW THAT IS ESSENTIAL with a message entitled "Studying Is Not A Bad Thing." We will be on Facebook Live and our church web page (www.jennerstownumc.org) @ 10am AND live and in person in the church sanctuary @ 9am & 11:10am. Safety measures will be in place and we invite you to join us there as well as in the church parking via the radio on 97.1. The Church is gathering once again! There are so many statements that people believe are in the Bible and really are not. One of the most popular is this one: God helps those who help themselves. This Sunday, we conclude our series called WHERE IS IT FOUND? with a message discussing that false statement entitled "How Much Is Too Much?" One of the mistakes that we make as followers of Jesus is to make claims that we think are Scriptural but really are not. Such is the statement that we will discuss this Sunday. This Sunday is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. We are in a unique situation due to the virus and restrictions of social distancing. We have never had to be away from a "church family" and others before like this. Yet, we can still gather and that is what you are invited to do this Sunday @ 10am.
